Central Examinations, Timetabling and Technical Services (CETTS) plans and manages the University's central space allocations, manages the central activities for timetabling and examination scheduling, and administrates the University’s teaching and examinations scheduling databases and its teaching and examination timetabling web pages.
The majority of the University’s timetables are delivered at individual staff and student level.
Examination scheduling and administration is almost entirely managed centrally, and involves the timetabling of both students and invigilators, as well as invigilator orientation and training. It provides advice to faculties on faculty managed examinations, and also manages external examinations and arrangements for students with alternative needs.
The department’s newest function is Space Management. It provides a definitive data source of all UWE's spaces, undertakes space audits, provides space use analysis and statistical returns.
